Ronald Borja-Roman

I am a PhD student in Chemical Engineering at Rowan University , working in the Sustainable Design and Systems Medicine Lab under the supervision of Dr. Kirti Yenkie .

My research combines physics-based simulation, artificial intelligence, and computational optimization to model, understand, and optimize complex engineering systems, with applications in functional materials, additive manufacturing, and sustainable chemical processes.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad del Atlántico (2024) , where I conducted research with Dr. Jorge Piñeres and Dr. Luis Obregón . Prior to my PhD, I also studied Software Engineering at Universidad de Cartagena, completing coursework through the eighth semester, and am currently finishing the degree.
